Can you believe it’s already June? Don’t let rising temperatures prevent you from getting on the trails! My five trail recommendations include AllTrails links below. A reminder that I do this every month, so subscribe now to make sure you don’t miss out on July’s recommendations!

Here’s the video version of the trail guides:

Hike 1: Alamere Falls via the Coastal Trail. AllTrails link: here.

It’s a perfect hike near Bolinas for those that are looking to take their hiking game to the next level. It’s a very ‘doable’ 14 miles and leads to an incredible 40’ tidal fall.

Hike 2: Introverted Hill via Wall Pt. Road. AllTrails link: here.

A nearly 5 miles and moderate trail in Mount Diablo (Walnut Creek area) leads to this unnamed fun hill to run up and down (where you will get a bench all to yourself at the top!). Bonus: if you are observant, this area is home to a future super secret spot reveal!

Hike 3: Seaview and Big Springs Loop. AllTrails link: here

A roughly 4.5 mile dog friendly trail in Berkeley with great views and wildflowers. Combo this with other Tilden park fun: merry-go-round and steam trains!

Hike 4: Kite Hill Wild Flower Preserve. Park: here.

There’s no AllTrails map for this one in Woodside - a hidden little park at 300 Jane Dr. There’s some false information that this wildflower preserve is private but I’ve researched and it’s public. Note: While the grass is dying out, some wildflowers are still present here.

Hike 5: Lover’s Lane. AllTrails link: here

This two mile loop in the Presidio of San Francisco hides a natural work of art: Andy Goldsworthy eucalyptus sculpture. To see it, you’ll need to pop off to the side of Lover’s lane and walk through the woods. Truly beautiful.

Thank you to my paid subscribers: your support helps me stay on the trail longer and bring you more inspiration and new trail ideas.
